Governing Board
The Board of Directors directs the management of the business and affairs of CASCI. All corporate powers are exercised by or under the authority of the Board of Directors.
Each director is either a person with a disability; a part of a family with a person who has a disability; or an individual who is committed to assisting persons with a disability and their families in accordance with CASCI's purposes, philosophy, and objectives. No person shall be eligible to be a director who is a service provider. For purposes of these by-laws, "Service Provider" is defined as an employee of an organization that provides direct service to persons with disabilities for monetary reimbursement. The Board seeks a broad cross section of the community.

Collaboration with Community Agencies
Beyond the general public’s response, CASCI presently has referrals from Options, Southern Indiana Center for Independent Living, Stone Belt Arc, physical therapy groups and members of assisted living and nursing home facilities.
CASCI seeks collaboration by contacting other groups that may provide names of people with disabilities that would benefit as either an Advocate or a Partner.
Citizen Advocacy is an innovative approach to supporting individuals with disabilities. Perhaps the biggest benefit of the service cannot be measured. By promoting ongoing relationships between people with and without disabilities, CA makes central Indiana a more inclusive an informed community.
